All functions at a glance
„mySkipper“ offers a wide range of most useful functions which help improve the management of your ship and maximize the productivity of planning a trip.
Crew
The crew data is entered and can be supplemented with additional data such as ID or passport number.
Data Backup
Data can be backed up and restored at any time. This function is also very useful when trying out unknown functions.
Log Journal
The log entries made can be revised, deleted (partially) or subsequently supplemented with text/image. The cadence of the automatic log entries can be varied for each stage.
Yacht's
Charter and/or owner ship management. Each recorded vessel can be used for several trips. Chain markings and defects can be recorded.
Currencies
Unlimited number of currencies. Exchange rates can be adjusted on an ongoing basis without changing existing bookings.
Crew Changes
Departing crew members are noted. Their chronologically delimited on-board cash and logbook statements can be sent by e-mail.
Stages
A stage can last several days or one day. If necessary, a day can also have several stages.
Maneuvres
“mySkipper” distinguishes between sailing and motor yacht maneuvers. For the sake of simplicity, the selection of maneuvers can be restricted.
Safety
Charter and/or owner ship management. Each recorded vessel can be used for several trips.
Chain markings and defects can be recorded.
Weather Data
The weather data can be recorded at any time or copied from the local weather reports. If an Internet connection is available, the current weather data is automatically adjusted.
Cockpit
All relevant functions can be carried out here during the trip without having to change masks.
Cash Box Entries
Cash bookings can be made in several currencies and the costs can be allocated to the crew members for each cost type.
Measurement / Units
Units of measurement can be changed at any time. “mySkipper” always calculates the respective masses at runtime. The units can be adjusted at any time.
Shipping
All available PDF lists, such as logbook, on-board cash register and owner's cash register journals, can be sent by e-mail.
Help
Help can be switched on and off in all views. When the help function is switched on, all relevant fields are supplemented with a descriptive text.
